Hi, I’m Anna.
I live and work in Bellingham, WA in the upper left corner of the Pacific Northwest and have always been fascinated by and drawn to the way spaces make us feel and how they function best. Growing up, my favorite spot on earth was my grandparent’s home - a place my grandmother had curated to be full of beautiful pieces and elements that captivated my attention. These touches didn’t feel frivolous or vain; they felt like an expression of care, welcome, personality, specialness, and a life well lived.
I pursued a design degree so that I could help execute transforming spaces for other people. I love taking both big-dream ideas and seed-sized inspiration and turning them into reality through problem solving and personalization. Because I know firsthand how the physical environments we occupy and live in can deeply affect our internal experience.
If you find yourself thinking…
“I wish this room felt special”
“This isn’t working”
“I feel stuck and overwhelmed”
“I just want a spot that doesn’t stress me out”
…I see you, I get it, I’d love to start a conversation.
My Approach
My goal as a designer is simple: to help your home feel like you - a reflection of your personality, your needs, and your everyday life. I start by learning what’s not working, what you want the space to feel like, and getting to know more about who will be living in it. (Because good design isn’t just about furniture and finishes, it’s about people.)
Once I understand your style, your needs, and the kind of life you want to live at home, my main job is to take all those ideas, details, and inspirations and shape them into a plan that makes both beauty and practical sense. I love dreaming big, but I also love the nitty gritty, the flow of a floor plan, the perfect shade of paint, and the small details that quietly bring a space together.
A well-designed home isn’t just a nice backdrop; it should feel like a soft landing place amidst life’s hard edges. And nothing makes me happier than when an inspired plan comes together.
I am going to make everything around me beautiful
that will be my life
